Intuo sends text messages on behalf of the businesses that use our platform, from a phone number assigned to that business. Messages come from the business you booked with; Intuo is the sending platform.
Online booking. When booking online, you enter a mobile number and may tick an unchecked box reading "I agree to receive appointment texts from [Business Name], sent by Intuo. Reply STOP any time." A second, separate unchecked box covers promotional offers. Below both, the form shows "Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply." with links to our Terms and Privacy policy.
Consent is optional. Neither box is ticked for you, and neither is required. The booking is submitted and confirmed whether or not you agree to receive texts — agreeing to messaging is never a condition of booking an appointment, paying a deposit, or using the service. If you leave the appointment-text box unticked, the business confirms your appointment on screen instead, and you can reply STOP at any time if you change your mind later.
Phone booking. When you book by phone with a business's staff or their automated assistant, you give the mobile number where you'd like your confirmation and reminders sent.

Depending on the business and the stage of your visit, you may receive:
Message frequency varies by your appointment activity and preferences. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you will receive one confirmation and no further texts. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for contact information. STOP, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE and CANCEL all opt you out.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only third party that receives your number for messaging is the telecommunications provider that carries the message to your phone. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more detail.
